Weapons, drugs and cash seized during police raid in Preston

Weapons, Class A drugs and cash were seized from a house in Preston after police executed a drugs warrant.

Officers searched a property in the Ashton/Plungington area of of the city under the Misuse of Drugs Act today (July 1).

Weapons, a "significant" amount of Class A drugs and cash were seized by police during the raid.

A picture of the haul released by police appears to show a knuckleduster along with various containers of drugs, small grip seal bags and a stack of £10 notes.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "This warrant comes again as a result of information from you the community.

"We thank you again for all your support, we couldn't do it without you."

Police have not yet confirmed whether any arrests have been made as a result the raid.

Lancashire Police has been approached for comment.
