Wanted sex offender with links to Preston, Blackpool and Fleetwood found

A 27-year-old Garstang man who was wanted for breaching his sex offender notification requirements has been found.

Kenneth Dickson, a 27-year-old sex offender from Garstang, was wanted after failing to comply with conditions related to his conviction in 2010 for sexual assault.

He was also wanted for breaching court bail conditions, handed down at Preston Crown Court on June 5, in relation to charges of burglary in a dwelling, theft and taking without consent.

Police said they were unable to trace him after he disappeared from his known address and went on the run on Monday, June 8

The force went public with his disappearance on Wednesday, June 17 and appealed for help in finding him.

They have now confirmed he has been found.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "You may remember that we issued a wanted appeal on June 16 for Kenneth Dickson, 27, from Garstang but with links to Blackpool, Fleetwood and Preston.

"He'd been wanted since June 8 for breaching his sex offender notification requirements.
