The young girl was left devastated after alcoholic Ian Carrington, 64, of Welsby Road, Leyland, grabbed her and made lurid sexual suggestions at an address in Leyland, before suggesting they went to his bedroom.
A month later the tormented teenager was hospitalised for three days after the attempt on her life.
Carrington now faces sentencing at Preston Crown Court on April 24 after admitting sexual assault.
Preston Magistrates’ Court deemed they had insufficient powers to deal with the case due to the psychological harm caused to the youngster, who cannot be identified.
Prosecuting, Sarah Perkins said: “There was severe psychological harm on the young lady concerned, a breach of trust and disparity of age.
“The young lady attended court to hear the sentencing on the last occasion and when she left court I’m told her legs went, she collapsed outside and she was vomiting.
“She says on June 17 last year at 1pm she attended Welsby Road, the defendant’s address.
“There was vodka on the table.
“The defendant was talking about his ex girlfriend. They were sat on separate sofas.
“He then started to make comments about her appearance, and was acting weird. He grabbed her leg and was talking about her body.
“She says he then asked her to go to bedroom with him and was pulling her.
“She froze and was terrified about what he was about to do.”
The court heard the girl’s friend rang her phone which interrupted the incident and she was able to flee.
In a heartbreaking statement the girl said: “I blamed a lot of it on myself. It all came out of the blue. I thought I must have given him the impression it was all right to do it.”
Defending, Julie Moss said: “The incident itself was very brief, there was no attempt to prevent her from leaving.
“It’s clear this is a one off.”
