A closure notice has been served on a flat in Lancaster following complaints of drug dealing, noise and anti-social behaviour.

Following numerous complaints, Lancaster City Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team and the Neighbourhood Policing Team served a closure notice on the tenant of 30 Arcon House, Lancaster.

A spokesman for Lancaster Police said: “On Tuesday October 17 Lancaster City Council extended the closure notice until October 30 when there will be a hearing for a full closure order.

“Until that date it will be a criminal offence for any person, other than occupant Peter Kelly to enter 30 Arcon House.

“If you see a person, other than Peter Kelly entering the premises you should ring the police on 101 or email Lancaster Neighbourhood Team on Lancaster.npt@lancashire.pnn.police.uk.

“If you have any information in relation to the premises or those who live there and would like to share it, please contact the Anti-social behaviour team on 01524 582727 and leave a message.

“If you wish to pass the information anonymously you do not have to leave your name, address or telephone number.

“You can also email the unit on asb@lancaster.gov.uk.”

A spokesman for Morecambe Area Police said: “This is another example of the council and police working closely to target drug dealing and anti social behaviour.
