TWO men continue to be questioned after a man was injured in an incident with a crossbow in Carnforth on Wednesday night.
Two men, aged 30 and 32, were arrested after police were called to Dunkirk Avenue at around 6.45pm after reports a 32-year-old man had been shot in the head with the weapon.
A 32-year-old woman, who was also questioned, has been released without any action.
Police say a man was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor head injuries.
In a statement, Lancashire Police said: “Officers attended the address and found a man with a minor injury to his head.
“He was treated by paramedics at the scene.
“The weapon was recovered by police shortly afterwards following a search by local and specialist resources. Officers are satisfied this was an isolated incident and there is no on-going risk to the community.”
