Two men arrested in Ingol on suspicion of dealing heroin and cocaine

Two men have been arrested in Preston on suspicion of drug dealing.

Officers with the city's neighbourhood policing task force made the arrests at a home in Dalmore Road, Ingol last night (Sunday, September 13).

The two men were arrested after officers raided the home following information from the community, which had complained of alleged drug dealing at the home.

Intelligence from the community also led police to suspect that a wanted person was staying at the house.

Officers served the homeowner with a warrant and the house was searched, with officers seizing a number of bags containing substances believed to be heroin and cocaine.

Both men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

A police spokesman said: "These arrests come from the intelligence provided by the community in relation to drug activity and wanted persons being associated with the property.
