Two men arrested after machete, cannabis and money seized in Lancaster

Police uncovered a machete, a "quantity of cannabis" and money during a stop and search of a vehicle in Lancaster on Thursday evening (November 5).
Two men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon.

Hide AdReporting the crimes at 11.40pm, a spokesman from Lancashire Police said: "Tonight officers from Team 3 stopped a vehicle in Lancaster which had two males onboard who were found to be in possession of a machete, a quantity of cannabis and money.
"Both males are now in police custody arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply and possession of an offensive weapon.
"A good arrest which removes two potentially dangerous people from our streets."
