Two men appear in court after vulnerable pensioner robbed in Deepdale

Two men have appeared in court in connection with the robbery of a "vulnerable" 66-year-old man in Deepdale.

Police were called to a report a "vulnerable" 66-year-old man had been robbed by two men in the Deepdale area on Saturday, August 23.

Craig Cairns, 36, of no fixed abode, and Shaun Ianson, 44, from Shakespeare Road, Preston were later arrested in connection with the incident.

Following an appearance at Preston Magistrates Court the two men were remanded into custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday, September 22.
