Three boys aged 13, 16, and 15 were arrested after a school boy suffered a suspected broken jaw after being struck in the face by a gang who robbed his bike.

The victim, aged 16, was among a group of six teenage friends who were in Haslam Park, off Blackpool Road, Ashton, Preston, when another group of around six youths approached them on Monday night.

The thugs then robbed mountain bikes from four of the boys.
