Three men have been charged after a raid on a suspected brothel in Preston.
Police made arrests relating to human trafficking on Monday, and three men from Romania have been charged.
Marius Petre, aged 26, of Longworth Street, has been charged with trafficking persons for the purposes of sexual exploitation.
Adrian Matei, aged 33, of Longworth Street, has been charged with trafficking persons for the purpose of sexual exploitation and two serious sexual offences.
Ion Ionut, aged 35, also of Longworth Street, has been charged with managing a brothel.
All three were remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates court on Wednesday morning.
Ins Paul McLernon said: “These charges follow a significant amount of work from many staff working long hours to help protect victims of trafficking and I would like to thank them for their efforts.”
