Three arrested after 'stolen' car crashes in Preston

Three men have been arrested after the car they were travelling in crashed into five vehicles in a Preston street.

A spokesman for the police said: "We were called by the owner of one of the cars that had been crashed into.

"A Hyundai reportedly collided with a Qashqai and four other vehicles.

"We spoke to the owner of the Hyundai and it appears that it was stolen.

"Three men were arrested at a property nearby."

The men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and remain in custody.
