Two teenagers have been arrested in Leyland after a car was allegedly stolen overnight, say police.
Police received reports that a Ford Ka had been taken from an address on Preston Road between 9 and 10pm on Monday April, 23.
The car was picked up later by patrols and brought to a stop with a stinger on Shaw Brow in Whittle-le-Woods at around 11.45pm.
A police spokesman said: "We were called after a car was taken from an address in Leyland.
"A short time later we picked up the vehicle and stung it.
"Two male teenagers were arrested."
The boys who are both 17 and from Leyland have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Police say the boys remain in custody.
