Street robbers leave man with head injury
A man needed hospital treatment after being attacked as he walked along a Preston street.

The 25-year-old man was walking on Plungington Road, listening to music on his headphones, when he passed two men close to the junction with Ellen Street.
The men followed the victim towards Aqueduct Street and onto Adelphi Street before attacking him, causing injuries to his head and body.
The thugs took the man’s i-Phone and ran off in the direction of Plungington Road and Brook Street.
The victim was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment to head injuries and later released.

The attack happened at 11.25pm on February 10.
Det Con Nigel Marler, of Preston CID, said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked attack on a defenceless young man.
“The victim has been left very shaken and we want to find the men responsible for this cowardly assault.
“If you were in the area around the time of the incident, or saw the robbery, call police immediately.”
The first man is described as white, 5ft 7in, of medium build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black hooded jacket.
A second man is described as white, 5ft 7in, of medium build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black top with light coloured pants.
