Stolen car in city police chase

The driver of a stolen car has been arrested following a police chase through Preston.

Officers from the Lancashire Roads Policing unit spotted the stolen Peugeot being driven through Preston this morning.

It had been stolen in Bolton on July 7.

Following a short chase, the car was stopped. The driver and passenger both attempted to run, but were caught and arrested.
