Sex offender Scott Allan Henderson, 30, from Clayton Brook is put back behind bars
A former football club mascot has been put behind bars after he was found with indecent images of children.
Sex offender Scott Allan Henderson, 30, was given 18 months in prison at Preston Crown Court yesterday.
Henderson, a former Blackburn Rovers mascot, had pleaded guilty to four breaches of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order as well as two counts of making indecent images of children.
Henderson, of Barn Meadow, Clayton Brook, had been previously jailed for 40 months in April 2012 for engaging in sexual activity with two boys under 16.
Following his release he was visited by officers from the Sex Offenders Management Unit (SOMU) in September 2016 and they found contact with a 12-year-old boy and further indecent images of children. While on bail in August 2017, he contacted a boy of 14 on Snapchat.
DC Dan Perkins of SOMU said: “Protecting children and from sexual harm is a key priority for us.”
