Search for missing Blackpool man who disappeared after leaving hospital

A 28-year-old man from Blackpool has been declared missing after leaving hospital.

Police are urgently searching for David Dickson, who disappeared after leaving Blackpool Victoria Hospital yesterday (February 6).

He was seen on CCTV walking out of Blackpool Vic in the afternoon and was last seen at around 5.45pm close to Poulton railway station.

David has links to Bacup - 45 miles away in the east of the county - and it is believed he might have been intending to travel there by train.

David is white, 5ft 6in tall with short, brown hair.

At the time of his disappearance, he had been wearing a navy Canada Goose coat, grey and black jumper, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

PC Luke Barber, of Blackpool Police, said: "We are very concerned about David’s welfare and would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward immediately."
