Search continues for Ribbleton man wanted after woman raped in Preston

Michael Foster, 32, from Hodder Brook in Moor Nook, is wanted in connection with the attack which happened on Saturday, July 11.

Detectives said a rape investigation was underway after officers were called to a home in the city where a woman in her 20s had suffered a serious sexual assault.

Police have now launched a second appeal to help find Foster and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Det Con Sue Wilson, of Preston CID, said: "We are keen to speak to Michael Foster and would urge him to come forward as soon as possible.

"We want to speak to him in connection with a rape investigation in Preston.

"If you have seen him or know where he is, please come forward and contact us."
