Robber held knife to woman’s throat

Police are hunting a robber who held a woman at knifepoint.

The woman had a knife pressed to her throat when she refused to hand over her mobile in an alley at Abel Street, Burnley, on Thursday night.

He wrenched the blue Samsung S3 mini phone from her hand and ran off.

The robber was described as 6ft and wore a dark raincoat. The woman, 27, was left shaken with a small cut to her neck.
