Probe into blazes in Preston
'‹Police are '‹probing a suspected arson attack on a car which spread to nearby garages.
Firefighters were called to Hawkhurst Road, Preston, at around 5am today.
A car had been set alight and a Preston fire crew worked to extinguish the blaze and stop it from badly damaging two nearby garages.
At around the same time, there were fires outside a shop in nearby Castleton Road and in bins in Falcon Street. One theory is that they may be connected.
Police are investigating.
