Preston woman disappears after catching bus to city centre

Linda Goldsmith has been reported missing after she failed to return from a scheduled appointment in Friargate.

Officers said Linda had last been seen in Harewood Road, Deepdale at around 9.45am, where she is believed to have caught a bus into town.

But she did not show up for her appointment and has not been seen since.

Linda is white, around 5ft 5ins, with a stocky build and greying curly hair. She had been wearing a blue raincoat, black slacks, brown shoes and glasses at the time of her disappearance.

She had also been carrying a shiny blue handbag.
