Police are appealing for help in tracing a Preston flasher.

At around 1.30pm on Sunday January 18, the man was standing on the disused railway lines in the Ribbleton area when he exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl and her six- year-old sister as they walked past. The two girls immediately went home.

A police spokesman said: “This must have been an extremely frightening incident for the victim who acted quickly and bravely to get herself and her sister away from the man. An investigation to identify the man responsible is underway and I would urge anyone who has any information that could assist us with our enquiries to contact us.”

The man had short dark hair, a skinny face and stubble. He was of an average build and was wearing a black hoody with dark trousers or jeans.

Call police on 101.
