Preston man wanted by police is arrested

A Preston man wanted by police has been arrested.

Jason Wright was arrested in the early hours of the morning.

Police had launched an appeal yesterday.

They asked the public if they had seen Jason Wright, also known as Jason Forbes (pictured), 33.

Lancashire Police said: "We want to speak to him after a woman was assaulted last Thursday (April 9th) and a separate incident where two women were held at knifepoint against their will at an address in Ribbleton the following day (Friday, April 10th). One of the women was also assaulted."

Aside from Preston, police said the man also has links to the Leyland area.

Lancashire Police tweeted this morning: "Many thanks to everyone who helped with our appeal - your assistance as always is hugely appreciated."

Have you seen Jason Wright, also known as Jason Forbes (pictured), 33, from Preston?

We want to speak to him after a woman was assaulted last Thursday (April 9th) and a separate incident where two women were held at knifepoint against their will at an address in Ribbleton the following day (Friday, April 10th). One of the women was also assaulted.

Wright is described as white, around 5ft 7ins and of medium build.

Aside from Preston, he also has links to the Leyland area.
