Officers want to speak to Lewis Higham, 30, after the woman was attacked and struck on the back of her head at Tulketh Tap Room in Tulketh Brow on Thursday, June 2.

A police appeal has been issued to help find Higham, who is known to frequent pubs around the Ashton and Ingol areas of the city.

The 30-year-old is described as 5ft 7 with very short balding hair.

A police spokesman said: “We are asking for your help in finding Lewis Higham who is wanted in connection with an assault at a bar in Preston.

“The incident happened at the Tulketh Tap Room, Tulketh Brow, on June 2, with a woman sustaining wounds to the back of her head.

“Higham, 30, who has links to Ashton and Ingol, and is known to frequent pubs in those areas, is 5ft 7 and has very short balding hair.”
