Preston man in court over assaults on woman

Tomasz Antoni Dobrowolski, 34, of Guildhall Street, Preston, appeared before Preston Crown Court, which was told he had been remanded in custody since being arrested and was finding it “hard.”

The 34-year-old entered guilty pleas to damaging a telephone, three counts of assaulting a woman and assaulting two emergency workers.

Judge Sara Dodd adjourned the case until October 8 for his sentence and to obtain a personal statement from his victim.

Dobrowolski will apply for bail during a separate hearing next week.
