Preston man arrested in connection with Ripon Street assault

Police have arrested a 32-year-old man following an investigation into an alleged assault in Ripon Street on Monday (June 1).

Anthony Morris, from Preston, had been wanted in connection with the alleged assault which happened at around 9.10pm.

Following a police appeal, he was arrested yesterday evening.

He remains in custody this morning.
