Joanne Louise Boyd, 55, of The Georgian Barn, Eaves Lane, Preston, failed to stop after the accident on September 30 last year, Preston Magistrates’ Court was told.
She was more than three times the legal drink drive limit when she got behind the wheel of a Range Rover, and caused “personal injury” to victims Yvonne and Brian Crossland in a collision.
Boyd pleaded guilty to drink driving and a charge of failing to stop after an accident in which injury was caused.
The magistrates bench ordered her to carry out unpaid work for 160 hours and banned her from the roads for 26 months.
She was also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge.
