Preston boxing champion will appear in court accused of three assaults and witness intimidation
Preston boxer Scott Fitzgerald has been charged with assault after a disturbance in Preston on Monday.
The 28-year-old was arrested after alleged domestic incidents at addresses on Greenbank Avenue and Ryelands Crescent.
Following enquiries Fitzgerald, who gave his address as New North Road, London, has been charged with three counts of common assault and one of witness intimidation.
The alleged victims of the assaults are two women aged 21 and 42, and a 23-year-old man.
Fitzgerald was due to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court today.
