Police have released CCTV images of a number of people who they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Preston where a man was punched and kicked.

Shortly before midnight on Saturday March 28 inside the Yates bar, Preston, the victim, a 33-year-old local man, was involved in an altercation with a man and a woman.

Some time after midnight the victim, having left the bar, was chased by the same man from the earlier altercation and three other men before he was chased along Boltons Court onto Wolseley Place where he was kicked and punched in the face and body.

Officers investigating the case would like to speak to a group of four men and three women, all thought to have been white and between 20-30 years old.

Man one is described as six feet tall, dark hair of a stocky build with glasses and was wearing a beige short sleeved shirt, man two is described as five feet nine inches tall, short brown hair, of a stocky build with tattoos running down his right arm.

Man three is of a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt, while man four is described as six feet all, dark hair and was wearing a dark jacket with a white t-shirt underneath.

One of the women was of a large build, was wearing an orange dress while the other was of a medium build, wearing a black dress and one was wearing a black top and white skirt.

All had dark hair.
