Police search for missing Preston woman

A woman from Preston has been reported missing and police are appealing to the public for information.

Kelly Lofthouse was last seen in the city centre at 10.15am on Thursday, May 28.

At the time of her disappearance, she had been wearing a grey North Face jacket, black trainers and a khaki green parka style jacket.

She is described as white, 5ft 3 inches, with a slim build and short brown hair shaved on the side and tied into a high bun.

Kelly is heavily tattooed and has a local accent.

A police spokesman said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kelly who has been reported as a missing person in the Preston area.

"If anybody sees Kelly then please call 101 quoting investigation reference 04/85324/20.

"For immediate sightings of Kelly, please call 999.

"We would urge Kelly that if she sees this appeal, to contact us so that we can check on her welfare and make sure that she is okay."
