Police search for missing Darwen man

A search is underway for a missing 57-year-old man from Darwen.

Police said Ian Hamilton was last seen in Blackburn Road, Darwen at around 3.50pm yesterday (June 11).

Ian is white, 5'10" tall, with a slight build and white hair.

His had last been seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white brick pattern, orange hoody underneath, camouflage trousers and red and white trainers. He had also been carrying a white carrier bag.

Police said Ian has links to the Bury area and in particular Elton, Bury town centre, Tottington, Greenmount, Ramsbottom, Holcombe Hill and Helmshore.

It is believed he might have been out walking in the countryside.
