Police search for missing Bamber Bridge man

A search is underway to find a missing man from Bamber Bridge.

A missing persons appeal was issued this morning after a 41-year-old man failed to return home yesterday evening (January 29).

Police said Richard Platt was reported missing after last being seen in the 'Bamber Bridge area' at around 6.45pm yesterday.

The exact location of his last sighting has not been provided by police.

Richard was last seen wearing a green flat cap, a black jacket and brown suede shoes with white soles.

He is described as being 5'6", with a slim build and short brown hair.

His family said he usually wears round, silver framed glasses.
