Police have released stills of a woman following a “violent altercation” in a Lancaster bar.

A woman arrived at Hustle, in Garden Street, with a small group of people at around 11.45pm on Wednesday, January 29.

The woman then made her way to the bar, at which point a man from the group was asked to come back outside by door staff.

Police said the woman, along with the rest of the group, went back to the front door, but then she came back inside the nightclub where a violent altercation took place.

Lancaster police have now appealed directly to the woman to contact officers in order to assist them with their enquiries.

A spokesman said all attempts to identify this individual had proved negative at this stage.

PC Caroline Caine, from Lancaster Police, said: “We would ask the public to study the images released and I would urge the female or anybody that recognises her to get in contact with us.”
