Police investigate reports of a man performing sex act on public footpath in Whittle-le-Woods

The incident has been reported by a family in Whittle-le-Woods after a mum-of-two spotted a man performing an indecent act behind their home.

Officers were called to Whittle Hills Close on Monday (April 27) after the man was seen performing a sex act on a public footpath behind the home at around 8.45am.

The man, believed to be aged in his late teens or early 20s, is described as having blonde hair, a medium build and pale skin.

He had been wearing a light green hoodie and blue jeans.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at around 9.05am on Monday to Whittle Hills Close, Whittle le Woods, following reports a man had been seen performing a sex act outdoors.

"Officers attended but the man had left the area.

"No arrests have been made but anybody with information should get in touch on 101, quoting log 239 of April 27."
