Police called to attempted burglary at primary school

Police were called to an attempted break-in at a local primary school on Wednesday (28 December).

Security services were alerted to the intruder by an alarm, say police

A security alarm sounded after an intruder forced a side door of Oliverson's Church of England Primary School on Mill Lane in Goosnargh at around 10.30pm, say police.

The alarm alerted a security company who in turn contacted the police.

It is not known at this stage if anything was taken.
