Police are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for missing 14-year-old Accrington girl who may be in Blackpool

A 14-year-old girl has gone missing after she was last seen in Accrington, and police believe she may now be in Blackpool.

Police have launched an appeal to help find Desemme Jones, 14, who was last seen in Accrington at around lunchtime on Wednesday (February 26).

Officers believe she may now be in the Blackpool area.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned about missing person Desemme Jones who was last seen in Accrington at around lunchtime yesterday.

"We now believe she is in the Blackpool area."

Desemme is described as 5ft tall, very slim build with long bleach blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black shiny waist length bubble jacket, grey leggings, light coloured Nike trainers and was carrying a cream coloured handbag.
