"Unfortunately we have not been able to get a picture of Michael but he is described as white, of medium build, around 5ft 8ins tall, with grey receding hair. He was last seen wearing a short jacket, jeans and shoes."

PC Bill Smalley, of Preston Police, said: “We believe Michael’s disappearance to be out of character and we are extremely worried about him. We have been unable to get hold of a photo of him so we are asking members of the public to read the description of him carefully and get in touch straight away if they think they have seen him, or know where he may be.”

Anybody with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log number 927 of August 23rd.
