Seven cars have been attacked with paintstripper, devastating a Longridge business owner.

The cars, all of different makes, were on show at That Car Place and owner Gary Gardner is offering £5,000 to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the culprits.

The incident at the Neville Street car selling business occurred on Tuesday, October 27 at around 10am according to Lancashire Police which is investigating with no leads as of yet.

Gary, 55, said: “We always take care of our customers, so I know we don’t have any enemies that would do this. We’re offering a reward because we know how busy the police are and if the money can help someone to come forward then it’ll be worth it. The neighbours around here are gobsmacked and I think it’s such a nasty thing to do, someone must really have a vendetta. It’s caused more than £6000 worth of damage and now we just want to see justice served.”

Police are asking anyone with any information on the incident’s culprits to call 101.
