Nursery burgled twice in a week

Police are appealing for information after two burglaries at the same nursery in Penwortham in the space of a week.

In the first break-in a Nokia mobile phone was stolen from Tinkerbells in Leyland Road at around 10.40pm on December 30. The thief is described as a white male, of heavy build, clean-shaven, wearing a light beanie hat, dark coat, light gloves and loose hipster jeans.In the second burglary over the night of January 6/7, the haul comprised nine laptops (HP, Asus, Dell and Apple Mac), five cameras (Nikon and Olympus Trip), a black ipad, three video recorders, a Samsung mobile and £366 in cash.

One thief was white, medium build, clean shaven with glasses and dark straight brown hair. The other was around 5ft 10in with dark receding hair, glasses, a big nose and wearing a light jacket with fur hood and light bottoms.
