"It was trotting fine when spotted apart from missing a front number plate.

"‘I didn’t realise it needed one’ the rider stated!

"Sorry, TOR issued"

In Lancashire, police at the roadside will issue a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) to the person committing the offence resulting in a conditional offer or fixed penalty.

Anyone caught speeding by an Officer could be issued a TOR resulting in a conditional offer of fixed penalty which is currently £100 and three points on their licence or if eligible receive a speed awareness course offer as an alternative to prosecution.

Motorists detected driving at high speeds will be referred to the Magistrates’ Court.
