Missing pensioner found safe in Morecambe

A Morecambe pensioner who went missing from his home has been found safe.

The 77-year-old was found "safe and well" this morning (Wednesday, December 16), say police in Morecambe.

A police spokesman said: "Further to our previous post, the 77-year-old missing from Morecambe has been found safe and well. Thank you for all the likes and shares."

He had last been seen in Nicholson Crescent at around 5.30am on Tuesday and his sudden disappearance had prompted a public appeal from Lancashire Police.
