Missing Lancaster man found after urgent appeal launched

Police launched an urgent appeal to find a missing 32-year-old man from Lancaster.

Police were extremely concerned for the welfare of James Doherty, 32, from Lancaster.

He had last been seen at an address on Greenfield Street on the morning of February 11.

But police have confirmed that James has been found.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "A 32-year-old man who went missing from Lancaster yesterday (February 11) has been found.

"He was found in the Preston area today (Wednesday, February 12).

"Thanks to everyone who shared our appeals to find him."
