Man wanted on prison recall following 'sneak-in burglaries' in Heysham

A search is underway for a man who was convicted of attempted burglary in Lancashire.

Shane Brady was sentenced to 45 months in prison after being convicted of attempted burglary with intent to steal in Preston Crown Court in April 2019.

The 20-year-old is now wanted on prison recall following sneak-in burglaries which took place in Heysham on November 1 and November 2.

Sgt Richard Tredennick, of Morecambe Police, said: "We are asking for the public's help in locating Brady and I would ask anybody with information on his whereabouts to contact police immediately.

"I would also appeal directly to Brady, if he sees this appeal, to attend his local police station straight away."

Brady has been described as 5ft 7in tall, with short light brown curly hair.

He has links to Preston, Lancaster and Morecambe.
