Man wanted by police after two youths are assaulted on Fishergate Hill

The incident happened at around 2pm on Fishergate Hill, in an alley between Fishergate Hill Surgery and Smithsons Pharmacy, leading to Colman Court.

Lancashire Police said the young victims have been left "very distressed" by the confrontation, but did not say whether they were male or female.

The force has released a CCTV image of the suspect, who appears to have long dark hair and is pictured wearing a face covering.

PC Nicol, who is investigating the incident, said: "We are investigating a report of an assault on two youths by an adult male which happened on Sunday, November 15 at around 2pm.

"The two youths involved were very distressed as a result of the incident.

"We wish to speak to the male featured in the photograph in connection to the incident.

"If you know this male or have witnessed the incident please contact the officer directly via email ([email protected]).

"If you recognise yourself in the photo, please also make contact quoting log reference number LC-20201115-0743."
