A man who was allegedly caught "touching himself inappropriately" on a Lancashire bus has been identified.

Police appealed for the public's help after a man was allegedly seen performing a sex act on a Lancashire bus.

The incident reportedly happened on a bus in the Ramsbottom area as it headed towards Haslingden shortly before 5pm on March 10.

Officers have now confirmed they have identified a man they would like to speak to following an earlier appeal.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Further to our earlier appeal, we have now identified a man we would like to speak to.

"It followed reports a man had been seen touching himself inappropriately on a bus travelling towards Haslingden."
