Man in his 20s 'dealt with' after police seize drugs in New Hall Lane raid

A man in his 20s has been 'dealt with' after police uncovered a stash of drugs at a home in Preston.

Officers with Preston's Neighbourhood Task Force executed a misuse of drugs warrant at the home in Brindle Street, off New Hall Lane, this morning (March 18).

Police said the raid was a result of a tip-off from within the community.

A spokesman for the force said:" A quantity of Class B drugs were recovered and a male in his twenties has been dealt with for these offences.

"This comes as a result from information from local people. Thanks again for your continued support.

"We continue to act on community intelligence and will act on information provided."

Lancashire Police did not confirm whether the man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences.
