Man collides with taxi as he runs away from police in central Preston
A man has been taken to hospital after he collided with a taxi as he made off from the scene of a crime, say police.

Police were called to reports of an altercation on Warwick Street in the centre of Preston at around 10.35pm on 19 April.
A spokesman for Lancshire Police said: "We were called around 10.35pm yesterday following reports of an altercation in Preston.
"Officers attended and detained three men in Warwick Street.
"One of the men made off on foot from the scene and was involved in a collision with a taxi in Walker Street."

The man suffered injuries to his head and stomach and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
