Man charged with attempted murder in Leyland
A man has been charged with attempted murder in Leyland, say police.
Aiden Shepherd, 20, of Merlin Grove, Leyland, has been charged following an alleged serious assault in West Paddock on Thursday, April 26. Police were called to the incident yesterday where they discovered a woman with strangulation type injuries to her neck.
The woman was taken to hospital and her condition was reported to be "stable".
He is due to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 27.
