Man brandishing 10 inch knife is arrested in Chorley

A man has been arrested for carrying a knife after police were called to an incident in Chorley last night (Sunday, December 20).

The man, aged 29, was arrested at around 7pm after police were called to a disturbance in Pall Mall.

A police spokesman said: "Following an incident this evening (December 20) on Pall Mall, Chorley officers have arrested a 29 year old male for possession of a bladed article and public order offences."

Lancashire Police has been approached for more details on the incident.
