Man arrested in Preston after trying to cycle away

A 22 year old man has been arrested in Preston on suspicion of supplying drugs.

He was a taken into custody last night after trying to pedal away from police officers on the city's Ribbleton Lane.

After being detained, police reported that the man allegedy assaulted both officers during his arrest.
