Man arrested after B&M Bargains staff member is headbutted in Fulwood

A man has been arrested after a staff member was allegedly headbutted at B&M Bargains in Fulwood.

Police have confirmed that a man has been arrested following the alleged assault at Fulwood Central Retail Park on Sunday (April 19).

The force said the man had been identified following a public appeal issued yesterday afternoon.

It had circulated a CCTV image of the suspect entering the store and wearing a face mask, which had been shared widely across social media.

A police spokesman said: "Following our recent post regarding an assault at B&M Bargains in Fulwood, we have now identified the male and he has been arrested.

"Thank you all for your help."
